The FBI is sidestepping the Fourth Amendment with help from Best Buy

According to recently unsealed documents, the relationship between the FBI and Best Buy is deeper than previously known.
The FBI trained Best Buy ‘Geek Squad’ employees in law enforcement tactics and paid $500 a pop for evidence of criminal activity on unwitting customers’ computers—all without a warrant or reasonable suspicion of wrongdoing. Incentivizing and encouraging what are essentially fishing expeditions, the FBI sought to make the retailer an unofficial arm of the investigative agency, going so far as to give Geek Squad employees lists of targeted individuals.
