Oldest fossil ever found on Earth is ‘strongest evidence yet’ of life on Mars

University College London geologists announced recently-discovered bacteria shows life existed hundreds of millions of years earlier than previously thought.
Bacteria embedded in rock formation is claimed to be the ‘strongest evidence yet’ that life may have existed on Mars hundreds of millions of years ago when Mars had flowing surface water and may even account for rapid evolution on Earth via panspermia, or meteor bombardment.
